BMI's leadership compare notes with fellow providers on how great projects get done.

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- BMI Imaging Systems, Inc., a leader in secure digitization, attended the IIMDA Fall 2026 meeting, held October 5–7 in Québec City, Canada. The fall gathering brought IIMDA members together to share how they run their operations, serve their clients, and prepare for what's next in information management.

The IIMDA meeting isn't a typical trade show. It's built around member presentations, where providers walk each other through real processes, lessons learned, and what's working in their businesses. That peer-to-peer format makes it one of the most practical events of the year for companies in the digitization space.

BMI was represented by CEO Will Whitney and EVP Brad Gilbert.

"The best part of IIMDA is that people show you how they actually do the work," said Will. "Brad and I came home with a stack of notes, and we're already using them to take a hard look at our own process, from the first call with a client all the way through delivery."

"Hearing how other operations handle intake, quality control, and project communication gave us a lot of practical ideas," said Brad. "Some of them we can put in place right away."

BMI is now applying those takeaways in a review of its end-to-end project process. The focus is clearer communication and a smoother experience for clients at every stage of a project.
