Self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet will soon display the young-adult fiction and dark fantasy book “Romani Redd: Stripped” by Cindy Summer at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The event will take place on April 22-23, 2023, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

“Romani Redd” tells the story of Sloane Gáspár Barzetti, who comes from a line of powerful Romani sorcerers. Like her ancestor Django, she possesses a unique magical ability to gain psychic knowledge effortlessly. While compliance is not her forte, Sloane's gift of knowing the unknown is second nature to her. Being able to tap into this mysterious power has always been a part of her identity, and at just fourteen years old, she knows there's nothing ordinary about it. For Sloane, the extraordinary is in her blood.

Sloane is forced to visit her self-centered father and his manipulative girlfriend, which she doesn't want to do. As they escalate their cruel tactics, the Barzetti team becomes more determined to make Sloane's life a living nightmare. But as they push her to her limits, Sloane discovers a heightened connection to the mystical world around her.

With a newfound understanding of her own power, she must decide whether to accept her prophesied fate, even if it leads to catastrophic consequences. The only question is, who will bear the brunt of the disaster?
