Formal Check Presentation to Take Place at the Farmingdale Long Island Applebee’s on January 28

Doherty Enterprises, Inc., a leading franchisee for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar in New York City, Long Island, N.Y., and New Jersey, has raised more than $200,000 to benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots® Program as part of its 26th annual Toys for Tots campaign.
The campaign, which ran from November 1, 2024, to January 5, 2025, throughout Doherty-owned Applebee’s locations in New Jersey and Long Island, culminated in a remarkable total of $218,748.91. These funds will help Toys for Tots distribute new toys to underprivileged children, bringing holiday joy to families in need.
A formal check presentation to the Toys for Tots program will take place at 9 a.m. on January 28 at the Farmingdale Applebee’s located at 200 Airport Plaza Blvd. The check presentation will include representatives from Doherty Enterprises, USMC representatives for Toys for Tots, and the Farmingdale community. Media are invited to attend to capture this celebratory moment.
Among the standout locations, the Farmingdale, Long Island Doherty-owned Applebee’s led the charge, raising more than $17,000, followed by the Lindenhurst, Long Island Applebee’s, which raised more than $14,000.
