Director of Accounting recognized for her commitment to Team Foster, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to veterans with disabilities
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Dobrowolski, Director of Accounting at PRG Real Estate, has been named first runner-up in Grace Hill's fifth annual Impact Hero Awards. The recognition includes a $2,000 donation to Team Foster, a nonprofit organization that provides highly trained service dogs to veterans with disabilities. Hosted by Grace Hill, the Impact Hero Awards recognize individuals who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
Dana has supported Team Foster since 2022 through the PHL Ruff Ride, a 24-hour stationary-cycling fundraiser that brings teams of riders together to support the organization's mission. Dana first got involved with Team Foster when, as the owner of a cycling studio, she was asked to lend her bikes for the organization's annual event. After hearing veterans speak candidly about how their service dogs helped save their lives, she was determined to be part of the event every year. After serving as a team captain for several years, she took on a new challenge in 2025: completing the full 24-hour ride on her own. Following six months of training, she crossed the finish line as the event's top individual fundraiser, earning its "Ruffest Rider" award.
"Twenty-four hours of discomfort on a bike is temporary. For many veterans, the effects of their service are something they navigate every day," said Dana.
Her commitment to Team Foster has only grown since. In 2026, she returned to the PHL Ruff Ride, again ranked among the top individual fundraisers, rode in the NYC Ruff Ride, and volunteered at Team Foster's Foster100 event. She is already planning another solo 24-hour ride for 2027.
Dana's recognition marks the second consecutive year a PRG Real Estate leader has been recognized through the Impact Hero Awards. In 2025, Jayme Presley, Vice President of Asset Management, was named the 2025 Impact Hero Award winner for her work with Kaizen Adaptive Training, an organization that provides free physical training and community support for adaptive athletes.
"PRG is honored that Dana was recognized for her charitable efforts," shared Sam Foster, Chief Executive Officer at PRG Real Estate. "It's no surprise that in addition to being a great accountant, mentor, and teammate, she's also a great member of her community," he added.
At PRG Real Estate, putting people first extends beyond the communities the company owns and manages. With more than $2 billion in assets across its multifamily portfolio, PRG measures success not only by business growth but by the difference it makes in the lives of others. By supporting team members like Dana in pursuing causes that matter to them, PRG puts its values into action.
