New DeepFreeze Feature Ensures SEO Work Survives Subscription Cancellations

New York, United States - April 3, 2026 / Search Atlas /

NEW YORK, NY - Search Atlas, the leading AI-powered digital marketing platform built for agencies and growth-focused teams, announced a series of significant updates to its OTTO SEO automation tool. The updates include OTTO DeepFreeze, WordPress Plugin 2.5.0, and native CMS Connectors, each addressing core challenges that marketers have consistently raised around AI SEO tooling: the fate of optimizations after a subscription ends, the reliability of platform integrations with complex site configurations, and the consistency of changes applied across different content management system (CMS) environments.

"As AI-powered marketing automation matures as a category, marketers and agencies deserve platforms that meet a high standard of reliability and transparency," said Manick Bhan, Founder and CTO of Search Atlas.

OTTO DeepFreeze Feature

OTTO's newly introduced DeepFreeze feature allows SEO optimizations to remain fully deployed even after a subscription is canceled. Once the feature is activated, all changes applied by OTTO - including technical SEO fixes such as schema markup and meta tags - stay live on the site. DeepFreeze is free to use and does not require an active subscription to maintain. Users also retain the ability to modify or roll back any optimizations at any point in time.

"The work SEO agents do on a website should belong to that site and not to a billing cycle," Bhan added.

For agencies, this means that client deliverables remain effective regardless of subscription status. For in-house teams, previously completed SEO work is preserved even when budgets shift or subscriptions change.

WordPress Plugin 2.5.0 Improves Setup and Stability

Search Atlas has released version 2.5.0 of its WordPress plugin, with a focus on reducing the setup steps that previously contributed to integration errors. The update introduces single sign-on authentication, enabling users to connect their Search Atlas account with a single click. The plugin automatically identifies and links the correct OTTO project for the connected domain, replacing a manual process that previously required API key entry and credential copy-pasting.

A connection status indicator confirms that the site and Search Atlas are properly synced before any deployment begins. When WordPress debug mode is active, the plugin generates anonymous error logs that can be shared with the support team for faster troubleshooting. Agency users benefit from automatic white-label branding sync across the plugin without requiring any additional configuration.

Native Integration Across 10+ Platforms

The platform's newly launched CMS Connectors dashboard provides authenticated, API-level integration between Search Atlas and more than 10 content management platforms, including Shopify, HubSpot, Wix, Contentful, GoHighLevel, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, and Salesforce.

These connectors establish a secure link between each platform and Search Atlas, improving content detection accuracy on CMS environments that restrict access to public crawlers. Once a connection is established, Search Atlas's AI content tool can publish articles, create drafts, and populate SEO metadata fields directly within the CMS - eliminating the need for manual copying or reformatting.

Each connector is managed through the CMS Connectors dashboard within Search Atlas account settings and can be added, removed, or reconfigured at any time.

Availability

OTTO DeepFreeze, WordPress Plugin 2.5.0, and CMS Connectors are all available now. Existing users can access DeepFreeze through their OTTO project settings and the updated WordPress plugin through the standard WordPress plugin update process.

"These updates reflect the commitment to that standard, giving marketing teams the confidence to fully embrace agentic execution at scale - knowing their work is protected, their integrations are stable, and the results they build are permanent," Bhan concluded.
