UT Haslam a Top 15 Public MBA Program in Bloomberg Businessweek Ranking

UT's Haslam College of Business climbed to No. 15 among U.S. public business schools in latest Bloomberg Businessweek MBA program rankings.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business rose 4 places to No. 15 among U.S. public business schools in the Bloomberg Businessweek Best Business Schools Rankings 2026-27. Nationally, Haslam came in at No. 39, up four spots from 2025.
The college also posted strong results across key measures of the Haslam MBA experience. Among public institutions, the college ranked No. 4 for learning and networking, No. 6 for entrepreneurship and No. 17 for compensation. Nationally, Haslam rose to No. 5 for learning experience, a leap of 38 places from 2025. It placed No. 10 for networking, up 11 spots from 2025, No. 17 for entrepreneurship, moving up 15 places from 2025, and No. 43 for compensation, climbing three spots from 2025.

Mary Goss, the college's executive director of graduate business programs, said the results reflect an MBA program that prepares students for leadership roles from the jump.

For its 2026-27 rankings, Businessweek surveyed 4,842 students who graduated between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026, and 7,861 alumni who graduated between October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2020. The magazine also surveyed 617 employers who recruited MBA graduates for full-time roles between 2023 and 2025.
